By donating the proceeds of this tournament to BGCGFW, the Kathy Whitworth Invitational helps our community of children
from disadvantaged circumstances, thereby fulfilling our goal of
modeling the sense of community, leadership and responsibility for the
citizen athlete.

Surrounding the multi-level Clubhouse is the 18-hole championship Golf
Course that impressively winds its way through Mira Vista, presenting
an array of beautiful holes that offer challenging play for every level
of ability. The masterful Mira Vista course is the creation of golf
professional Tom Weiskopf and golf course architect Jay Morrish. Site
of the 1994 Texas State Amateur, the 1997 Southern Amateur, and the
2000 Texas State Mid-Amateur Championship, Mira Vista features 419
Bermuda fairways, Tifeagle greens and multiple tee areas on each hole.
The par 71 course has a maximum total yardage of 6,849. Native grasses
and a panorama of wildflowers provide an extraordinary park-like
environment.
